Point of View is a collection of 12 new tracks, all of which were produced, recorded and mixed by Russ in his own Rock n' Soul Foundation Studios.

All the songs on the CD were written by Russ with musical support from the late Wade Cottingham (who co-wrote the title track), Dave Lamar Jones (keyboards), and Russ's long time friend, Charles Rigdon.

Since his initial offering, Ride This Train in 2001, Russ has been upgrading his studio equipment and the tracks on Point of View are a reflection of Russell's growing expertise behind the microphone as well as in front of it.

His guitar playing continues to dominate his sound, but he has also added new dimensions to his sound through his work with new collaborators, as well as new technical capabilities.

As he continues to prepare to hit the road with his new band, Point of View is a preview of great things to come from Russ in the next year.
